Connections Event Helps With Financial Aid, Scholarship Applications

New Caney, Splendora, and Caney Creek High School seniors and their parents are invited to join area school representatives for the “Connections” Event Monday, February 22 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the East Montgomery County Improvement District Complex off Community Drive in New Caney. Parents and students will receive information on financial aid, career opportunities and colleges. Financial aid specialists will be on hand to assist in the completion of applications for federal financial aid and EMCID scholarships. Drawings will be held for free scholarship monies and other prizes.

This event is jointly sponsored by the Rotary Club of East Montgomery County, Lone Star College-Kingwood, and Conroe, New Caney, and Splendora ISDs.
