Porter HS students attend Borderland Challenge in El Paso

 

May 2, 2016 | Interpersonal and Collaborative Skills | Six students from Porter High School attended the Borderland Challenge in El Paso, Texas on April 15-16.

 
The students competed in categories such as Crime Scene Investigation, Felony Stop, Drug Raid, Hostage Negotiation, Obstacle Course, Burglary in Progress, Active Shooter, and Bomb Threat.  

The students who attended the event included Brandon Doty, Bryan Rodas, Christian Hernandez, Jacob Wilson, Jared Hicks and Chance Price. They were led by coaches Matt Busby and Anthony Najera.


The group placed in several categories including:


1st Place in Obstacle Course

1st Place in Crime Scene Investigation

1st Place in  Felony Stop

2nd Place in Active Shooter  

2nd Place in Obstacle Course
