Oakley Welcomes New Interim Principal Mrs. Nancy Morrison

Oakley Elementary would like to introduce Mrs. Nancy Morrison, the Interim Head Principal for Spring 2017.

Professionally, Mrs. Morrison comes to Oakley Elementary with 40 years of elementary experience. Mrs. Morrison is a former Principal in Humble ISD. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Education, Midwestern State University, and a Masters of Science in Educational Administration, Stephen F. Austin. She also has Post Graduate Educations from the University of Houston, Texas A & M and Texas State University. Mrs. Morrison has been in the North Houston community for the past 40 years, setting deep roots into our community. She is married to Ron Morrison, has two children and one granddaughter.

One of the most important aspects of her work here at Oakley Elementary will be to build strong relationships with students, teachers and families. You will find her in the hallways, classrooms and cafeteria getting to know your child(ren).  Her passion has been and always will be educating young mind.  With that in mind, you can expect that she will work diligently with teachers to make sure our students are exposed to curriculum and instruction that is both engaging and challenging, thus preparing our students for the R.E.A.L.I.T.Y. of tomorrow.   Mrs. Morrison has an open door policy and welcomes your input and ideas.  She is looking forward to a great semester at Oakley Elementary!
