Summer Project - Incoming 7th/8th Graders
 
7th GradeYou will read The Giver and complete the associated projects. This will be due by the end of the second week of school, Friday September 4.
8th GradeYou will read Dark Water Rising, complete a hurricane tracking chart, and write a history essay using the detailed instructions in the attachment below. This will be due by the end of the first week of school, Friday August 28. The instructions were sent home with students during the month of May, and are attached to the page below.

Supply List
At the bottom of this page are the supply lists for all grade levels. Students can bring their supplies up to school the week before school starts on registration night. Check the school webpage for information regarding important dates.

 Technology
 
Students may use district issued Chromebooks or their own technology for class assignments and projects.  Each student and parent must sign the acceptable use policy and abide by technology guidelines.  Teachers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged technology.  Teachers/Students may communicate through one or more of these applications: District Website, Teacher Webpage, Google Classroom, Remind 101, School Way and/or others.  
 
  
Texas Performance Standards Projects
 
All students in SPARK will complete a major project put out by the state. Please see the links or attachments below to learn more.
