Message from the Chief
As Chief of Police of this great school district, I join all members of the New Caney Independent School District Police Department in welcoming you to our website.
I am very honored and humbled to serve as the Chief of Police for this growing school district. I hope that you have had an enjoyable summer, and I want to personally welcome you back to a new school year, which is always a very exciting time for students, parents and educators.
As we begin the (2016-2017) school year, I encourage every student and parent to embrace the opportunity to make this a great school year. Take time to enjoy the excitement that surrounds the start of a new year. The summer has been a busy time for all New Caney ISD Police Officers who have worked hard to prepare for the new school year. New Caney ISD Police Officers have been attending specialized training during the summer months, working hard to ensure an environment where students feel safe to learn, employees feel safe to work and the community is confident in the safety of the district.
Every day, our officers and personnel staff have the opportunity to interact with tomorrow’s leaders throughout NCISD. If we all work together, we can make this a successful year of learning, further helping us to accomplish the New Caney Independent School Districts Mission to Graduate students who are equipped to thrive in the REALITY of their future.
In closing, I would like to encourage you to further explore the great work of the New Caney ISD Police Department through our website or by saying hello to one of our Police Officers throughout the New Caney Independent School District. They stand ready to protect you, assist you, or just provide a polite "Hello!"
I want to thank you for taking time to visit our site and hope you find it useful and informative.
Troy Wootton, Sr, LCC
