Library Information:
  • Students visit the library once every two weeks with their English teacher.
  • Each student may check out up to two books and keep them for two weeks. 
  • Late fines are charged for books that are turned in after their due date. Late fines are $.05 per day per book.
  • Students may place holds on books by logging into their Destiny account.
Chromebook Information:
  • Each student will receive a Chromebook, case, and charger to take home for school work.
  • Chromebooks should be treated as an essential school supply. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook to every class, every day.
  • Chromebooks should stay in the case at all times.

Mrs. Higginbotham taught grades 4-6 for 6 years in Aldine ISD. She then tranisitioned into a library position at an intermediate (5th-6th grade) in Aldine where she worked for 4 years. In 2010, she moved to White Oak where has has happily serves as the Media Specialist--overseeing the library and technology integration.
