This is my 19th year in New Caney ISD. I taught 7th grade Science for eight years at White Oak Middle School, then went to New Caney High School as an Assistant Principal. After three years as an Assistant Principal and three years as the Associate Principal, I started as Principal of Keefer Crossing middle School. This is my 5th year here, and I am thankful for the students, staff, and parents that make this school such a great place to be. My own children attend New Caney schools, and my oldest will be a KCMS Eagle next year.
I have lived in the New Caney community for almost 40 years. I am a New Caney High School Graduate and I have two children who also graduated from New Caney High School. I have 31 years’ experience in education and began teaching in New Caney ISD in 1994 as a Coach and teacher. In 2005, I transferred to Keefer Crossing Middle School. I taught Reading and was the ISS teacher for several years. In 2013, I moved over to The Learning Center. In 2014, I returned to Keefer Crossing Middle School as one of the Assistant Principals. I love New Caney ISD and Keefer Crossing. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! I am the Assistant principal/Campus Behavior Coordinator for students with last names A-L.
