The Robert Crippen Elementary Parent Teacher Team (PTT) is not just a team but a family. We are all united with the same goal, seeing that our children have the best experience that we can offer. As president of the PTT I realize that my child spends half of his day with a caregiver other than myself. It’s my personal preference that since my child is being taken care of by another, I try to relieve as much stress and pressure off of the people who take such a major role in my child’s life. I want to make them know that they are appreciated and that I am here to help and back them up in anyway I can so that they may be able to enjoy their very important part in my child’s future.
Being a part of PTT allows parents to be more involved in their child’s education. We have two fundraisers each year in order to raise money to support our school. We also volunteer our time for fieldtrips, picture day, fundraiser distribution, classroom parties & other events. Parents may volunteer time, money, or donations of food. Everything that is given is given with the hopes of helping our children. PTT has goals to raise money in order to provide our school and teachers needs that may not be in the budget. We are looking for people who are dedicated & committed in supporting not just others, but their own children.
“One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, or how much money I had in the bank, but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in a child's life...The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow.”
