Tavola will be transforming our school into Seussville the week of March 6-10 in honor of Dr. Seuss’ March birthday. We are encouraging all students to play along with us. Each day we will have special theme to keep the celebration going. Please join the fun! Click link to see themes
Third through fifth grade students will be taking practice STAAR tests over the next few months. These tests are given to students for several reasons. First, they have a chance to practice taking a longer test in the same format as STAAR. Secondly, teachers use the information from the test to help tutor students in TEKS identified as needing improvement. We are asking that parents do not visit the campus on testing days in order to minimize distractions.
ATTENTION TAVOLA PARENTS If your child will be a car rider at anytime during the 2016-2017 school year, please see the attached document! You may print the document and bring into Tavola’s front office beginning Monday, August 1st or you may also pick up the form from the front office. Once your form is turned in, car rider tags will be created for you and they may be picked up at Meet the Teacher Night. Thank you for your help with this procedure that assists us in keeping your student safe!
