The District’s School Health Advisory Council assists the District in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the District's health education instruction. The committee, made up of at least five members, meets at least four times each year to discuss and address issues as they relate to student health. These volunteers promote a healthy lifestyle for students through physical activity and nutritional wellness. Meetings are held the second Monday of the month at the Child Nutrition Office. Please contact Christina Nunez, district health services coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
