Brande Bass Brande Bass, Director of Grants and Special Programs  
 
Brande Bass is the Director of Federal/Special Programs for New Caney ISD.  Her background experience in Federal Programs and School Improvement while at Region 6 provides her with the experience to oversee the many different aspects of her job.  As the Director of Federal/Special Programs she handles federal and state programs, federal accountability and serves as the Homeless Liaison for the district.  She worked at LeTourneau University as an Education Specialist assisting students in obtaining their Post baccalaureate teacher certifications.  She is also an adjunct faculty member at LeTourneau University.  Brande has experience teaching as an Agriculture Science Teacher, Special Education teacher and a university instructor.  She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Agriculture Education from Texas Tech University. You may contact her at bbass@newcaneyisd.org.
 

 
Kelly Johnson Kelly JohnsonHomeless Liaison/Parent Involvement Coordinator  
 
Kelly Johnson is the Homeless Liaison/Parent Involvement Coordinator for New Caney ISD. She is your point of contact for questions regarding Homelessness or Parental Involvement. She worked in the medical field as a NR­CMA/Urodynamic Technician specializing in Urology for 21 years. Kelly then came to New Caney ISD in October 2009 to work with Special Education and the Autism team. In 2010, she moved to Central Office as the secretary to the Executive Director of Administration.
